Had the opportunity to play Legacy 12/6/25. Course was a little beat up due to rain the previous day, but the course played true. It was obvious due to weather they hadn't been able to maintain the course as one would expect, so tee boxes were a little worn and soggy.

This course is an amazing course. It’s currently being renovated but is in amazing shape. The layout is fantastic, the conditions were amazing, the pace was great. Can’t say enough good things about it now, I can’t wait to see it a year from now. Such a great add on for the Talamore group!

Experience was SUB PAR to say the least. Would not recommend spending your money here. Did a trip with Talamore for their three courses and Legacy was by far the worst. Ignoring the fact that the entire course is under construction, greens were patchy and unkept, there wasn’t a beverage cart on a sunday, our cart dying mid-round, and their only options for restrooms were porta-potty’s (understandable as they are renovating the clubhouse) the entirety of the staff was abhorrently rude and distasteful. I left the course with a bad taste in my mouth by the way our group was treated. When we arrived, a cart was simply dumped behind my car with zero words—no hello, no welcome—just left there for us to find. The cart kid walked off like we were a burden. At the first tee, we were immediately directed to the “women’s tees” because a few women were in our group, but we had no intention of playing from there—we play from the white tees. The assumption that women can’t handle longer tees is infuriating. We waited. on. every. shot. At home our group can play a round of 18 in easily three hours, but today it took us upwards of 5 hours, which is fine if we weren’t being harassed by the ranger for “not keeping up”. We could only assume they spoke to our group because we had women in our group and when I told the ranger we were waiting on the groups ahead of us on every hole, we were met again with unkindness. The ranger continued to watch and hound us throughout the round. At the turn, we didn’t even feel comfortable stopping for drinks, food, or bathroom because the ranger was there and I was worried about being yelled at for pace of play again, so we made the turn and again waited for our tee shots. After 18, a nice wave to the ranger was met with a glare. Overall not a good time and would not recommend. A few members in our group work at a golf course and we were all astounded by how we were treated. Below are some pictures of us waiting on groups ahead after we were told to keep it up.
