Public 18 hole golf course not ran by the city of ABQ. Has a driving range and a chipping green as well as putting practice greens. The driving range may be the worst in the city, especially during winter months. In an effort to let the grass on the driving range tee are grow they have moved to turf mats which are horrible. No tees built in to the range mats, and difficult at best to keep your tee in the mat at a decent height bc the mats are placed on top of concrete. Expect to use and lose a lot of tees at this range. Also, the sight lines and backdrop of the driving range make it very difficult to determine distance and carry of your shots. The chipping green is open, but is in a state of disrepair. The middle of the green is covered in sand at the moment as I believe they are trying to recify a grass disease or other issue. The putting practice green is OK, but also has a couple dead spots on it. Not too bad for winter months. The 18 hole course is fun to play, however a lot of the greens are in rough shape, with new sod and sand laid across many of them. The staff is young, but has always been polite and helpful when needed. The Office restaurant is a great place to get some food, and I've heard it's a great place for happy hour festivities as well, particularly karaoke on Thursdays. Bartenders always friendly and have good customer service.

Edit Aug 2025: The worst driving range in ABQ. You cannot find a clean stance and a good lie at the same time. All the balls are beat to hell. $10 a bucket is basically stealing at this point. The balls have no dimples. The employees walk around on the range unprotected while people are hitting and get pissed if you hit near them… duh. Staff not always friendly as we had a pretty negative reaction when trying to check in with our tee time. Course in good shape, but they players obviously don’t respect the course with more ball marks on the greens than I’ve ever seen. Their carts are annoying as heck to drive. You get about 2 feet from the dirt cart paths on the outer side of the rough and you have to back up. Isn’t it better to drive on these defined paths than in the rough? It seems obvious to everyone except the folks who programmed the restricted areas. Food is good. Views are great.

I had a great experience at Paradise Hills Golf Course! The course was amazing and impeccably clean, making for a fantastic day of golfing. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which added to the overall positive atmosphere. My only frustration was with the golf cart limitation. There were times I was forced to drive on the fairway rather than the dirt path, which was a bit concerning. If this issue could be addressed, it would make the experience even better. Despite this minor issue, I highly recommend Paradise Hills Golf Course for its beautiful course and excellent staff. I’ll definitely be returning!
