I took two kids out for nine holes, and it was great. Generally not packed, and there are some truly hard shots here. Pretty flat, but greens have some good slopes. Overall, not the best course, but fun and very reasonably priced.

Really enjoyable 9 hole course and club house and bar. I've attended several ladies golf clinics, welcoming for this newbie. Scott the pro is a great teacher. I see lots of kids clinics going on too. The charming restaurant and bar has just opened with a fun menu, great light fare as well as full entrees.

I’ve grown up on this golf course. The renovations that took place last year were remarkable. This 120 year old historic golf course is looking better than ever. More improvements are expected again this spring. Thank you for saving this special course!

Disappointed in my last experience at Sacandaga Golf Course. For years I’ve come to this course and everyone has always been incredibly friendly. But on a rainy, Tuesday afternoon, that all changed. The golf-pro was condescending and blatantly impolite. Glad I got my refund back, otherwise that would have been a waste of $25. Never going back.

Where do I begin? A rainy Tuesday afternoon not a golfer in sight, my friends and I visiting the beautiful Great Sacandaga Lake and attempting to go for our yearly round of golf at this club. Well, to say the least this tradition is no more. The "pay to ride" theory is flawed but understandable for busy weekends and to make extra money. But even after paying for the ride scrooge mc"pro" denys our play as we only have one bag and will "slow down play". Again rainy Tuesday no one in a 100 mile radius only 3 people on the course. Logically it doesn't even make sense , in no way would an extra bag make play any faster, the three of us could finish our 9 holes twice before "pro" makes it off the first tee. In the end dont waste your time here anymore, such a shame, what use to be a lovely place to golf is no longer that! STAY AWAY! Side note the one star is for the refund thanks for that!
