The course is great shape they clearly understand how maintain a course Played many times -challenging greens nice fairways always clean probably best kept 9hole public course around…… only drawback I see is tee boxes are sloped way too much- don’t see that most courses- I guess slightly for drainage necessary but currently way too much slope The crew is great and on top all aspects of maintenance and it shows maybe they can address tee boxes in coming seasons

My issue along with everyone else that is a Town of Hempstead Resident is the lack of Golf Carts. For a 9 hole course you need to have a minimum of 18 carts - do the math! And that's not counting if one breaks down or one for the person that should be driving the course managing the time of each group. We pay enough taxes so enough with the silly phrase of 1st come 1st serve. GET MORE CARTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Years ago I played it but it was very unkept, so I went back about 8 years ago and it was terrific in every way so I've been going there regularly since. The staff is very nice and helpful. I found if you call the office with a complaint they take care of it immediately. I love it there and play it at least once a week!!!
