We love this course and the congenial family that own and operate it. The course captures the essence of what we love about the Adirondacks - its not perfectly groomed but it is kept in good condition considering the typically dry summer weather. In most years the greens are very good to excellent. There are other courses in the area to choose from but this will always be our favorite.

We stayed here one night last week. We were camping at Lake Durant and decided that we needed a night in a hotel. We looked all around this area and found most hotels were well over $200 per night and we didn’t want to spend that much. We drove by and found this place and just stopped in. The front desk employee was super friendly and gladly allowed us to look around the room. We were surprised by how clean and new the room was based upon the look from the outside. The hotel was amazingly quiet, very comfortable and a pleasant surprise for the area.

I know is August and a little dry but they could do better with more care, no water to drink on the course the staff should better trained no knowledge of the course. I played the course twice same tees they could add a second tee box to make it interesting they were spraying chemicals on the greens and the 2 time around flags were off and the staff didn't warned us. To pricey for the quality.

Quintessential ADK golf course (IMHO); short, scenic, what golf started out as and, here, has basically remained. For my part, they could discontinue the use of chemicals and it would still be worth the price. Love it.

Played golf. No frills course in fair condition with three interesting holes. Fairways are rough and extremely bumpy. Greens we’re in good condition considering the dry weather.
