Great place to stay and play a full course of golf. The Lil' Piece BBQ has amazing food and the staff are more than accommodating and friendly. Bar is stocked for all your drinking needs as well.

There's a restaurant call Lil' Piece that serves the best BBQ in Albany and Greene County!! There is a beautiful public golf course.

Nice little hidden golf course tucked in near the Catskills. Golf carts are old and outdated but they care about the course. In a summer with no rain the greens were watered well and soft.

Our Island Green visit was an adventure. Agreed - the course is in rough shape. Tee-box chaos, cart path confusion, weedy fairways and poor signage. However, the greens were in good shape and, oddly, there are no sand traps (which is OK by me). A needed item would be to provide players with an overview of the course layout with numbered holes (Google Earth/Google Maps?) The building exteriors need facelifts which they are working on. Happily, our room interiors were updated and clean. The dining room was dated, but the sliders (pork, brisket or chicken) and burgers were great and reasonably priced. The BEST part of Island Green – the staff! Kevin and Doug are so friendly and accommodating. Emily is an amazing server/bartender and makes Aperol Spritzes that rival those in Amalfi. Fun adventure.
