Beautiful greens on this course! It's hilly, so you'll want to get a cart unless you're fit. It's pretty open, so if you're an errant hitter, you don't have to fear losing a lot of balls! The view is nice, with the tall hills serving as a backdrop.
The only thing I don't care for: those gas golf carts (noise, exhaust).

The wide open fairways, nicely manicured greens, and the fact that it was created by the WPA during the Great Depression made it a joy to play on for this former history teacher.

The golf course is fun and playable, but the distance gap between the white tees and the golds is a little too wide. Greens were in very nice shape when we played in early August. The old guy in the pro shop was grumpy and rude. His first words to us were "You're late," even though we were a few minutes early and still teed off right behind the group that had the tee time before us.
