I had an awful first-time experience here, and I feel it’s important for others to know. I came as a beginner because this course advertises itself as a great place to learn. Shortly after we started playing, a man (photo attached) came over yelling at us that “this is not a place for beginners” and that we were taking too long. We politely apologized and explained we were just starting out, asking for a little patience. Instead of speaking to us respectfully, he continued screaming, telling us to “get off the course” immediately.
We were never rude or disrespectful to him, and there was no reason for him to approach us in such an aggressive and hostile way. His main complaint was that people were waiting behind us yet before we even started, we had offered to let others go ahead, and we were happy to wait our turn. He also refused to refund us, which added insult to injury. Thankfully, the front desk staff member was professional and kind enough to process our refund, or we would have lost our money as well.
This encounter was extremely upsetting and completely ruined the experience. If you are a beginner, or if you simply expect to be treated with basic respect, this is not the place to come. The behavior we experienced was not only unprofessional it was aggressive, unnecessary, and made us feel unwelcome and humiliated.

Just started golfing as a senior for the first time going to the range and hitting and taking a few lessons. Today I played this course with a friend for the first time. Actually, first time on any course.
The starter and pro shop attendant were very helpful. The online reservation, at site check in, and start were stress free and relaxing. Both employees were helpful and informative and made us feel welcome.
The course is laid out well and not that challenging for an experienced golfer (my friend). For me, it was challenging but not too bad. I was told this was a great place for beginners to learn, and I agree. Had an awesome time and will be going back weekly to improve my game. It ain't like the range, thats for sure.:)
My issues with this course are the overall condition of the greens which each have multiple divots which I found surprising, and the lack of a visible cart trail to follow from one hole to the next. If u go early u can follow someone else's track in the dew. If u go after 10, u make ur own track which has chewed up a lot of the spaces outside the fairway.
BTW, a warm up space (screened or range) and mowed non-fairway would also be welcome. The grass was a tad tall, even for an experienced golfer.

Great course and friendly staff, especially Levi. He is kind, passionate about golf and always willing to give helpful pointers to improve your game, would definitely go back again.
