I'm not sure if we just happened to golf on a bad day or what.... but you shouldn't have to spend a lot of time (or ANY time, for that matter) searching for your ball ON THE FAIRWAY... the grass was just very long and the overall upkeep was poor...I know it's not a fancy country club or a professional course, but I was definitely disappointed. I have golfed here before and while it has never been AMAZING... it was decent for the price you pay. However, the grounds were definitely not up to par (no pun intended) at my most recent visit. I'm still giving it 3 stars because this was an isolated incident. It's a decent course at a decent price...

I don’t know if the employees hate me, but it seems every time I try and book a tee time, I get horrible service. The first time I went last year, the course was in shambles, with a few greens just. Being half brown. Then I’ve tried to go twice this season, the first time I asked for a tee time for a double, and the man laughed at me over the phone and made no attempt to book. Then a few days ago, I asked for a tee time for 4 people, and it just didn’t sound like he wanted business, he sighed very loudly, making me feel like he didn’t want me to golf on his course. Overall the course is fine, could be kept better, but you should worry about your customer service before your course, in my opinion

Older park staff is not pleasant. Booked a tee time today and my daughter(9) wanted to go with me, walked up and was greeted with "what you brought a caddy? I said "yes, she's the best haha" and was met with a scowled face to my reply. For a public park that is not well kept (by that I mean you could lose your ball in the fairway.. rough is just unmowed and mostly weeds, at least half the ball washers don't have towels attached and the greens have barely any undulation and have brown spots.) the price is criminal. (Mind you I'm a resident so it's supposed to be cheaper) I paid 19 dollars for green fees and 17 dollars for cart fees FOR 9 HOLES. My daughter wanted to drive the cart so of course I let her. Not her first time on a golf cart (never had a problem at a single campground) and I was working the accelerator and helping steer. At about hole 5 I was met by one of the older scowl faced gentlemen who proceeded to ask "how old is she" I asked "why" his reply made me and everyone on the next green over chuckle in disbelief. He said "you need to have a valid NYS driver's license to operate a golf cart outside of your own property" I said "ok I'll drive from now on" he replied again with "it's the law" to which I replied "didn't know the police were patrolling the parks(at this point I was not happy after paying 38.50 after taxes to golf 9 holes but still said it jokingly) his reply to that was "I'm the police" with yet another miserable looking scowl. For the combination of course quality and customer service; needless to say I will not be back and I wouldn't recommend this course to ANYONE now. If I knew how to leave less that a one star review I would. Thank you for reading and have a nice day!
