This golf course is an absolutely stunning venue for a wedding, especially for a Hindu ceremony. The grounds are very spacious with plenty of parking, and the staff provided excellent service throughout the day. The greenery and open golf course views created the perfect backdrop, offering a beautiful contrast to the vibrant colors of the ceremony. As you can see from the photos, the setting made for a truly memorable and breathtaking celebration. Highly recommend this location for anyone looking for a mix of elegance, space, and natural beauty!

I’ve played Split Rock before, but this most recent round was one of the most frustrating golf experiences I’ve had. I booked a 7:20 AM tee time, showed up a solid 35–40 minutes early, paid $90 for 18 holes with a cart, and expected a smooth start. Instead, after waiting in line to check in, I went to the first tee only to be told after my tee time that 18-hole rounds start on Hole 10. By then I was sent behind four groups and ended up teeing off 40 minutes late—through no fault of my own. Apparently this “start on 10” system has been around for a while, but I don’t remember it from prior visits. Maybe sometimes a marshal is there to direct people, but not today—and judging by the confusion, most groups had no idea either. From there, it was slow play on every hole. By the time I reached the turn—three hours after my original tee time—there were another four groups stacked up, and I just walked off after 9. The course did give me a half-value rain check, but it’s only valid for 90 days and only at this course, which doesn’t feel like much for the wasted time and money. Conditions were about what you’d expect for a muni: greens green but very slow, bunkers in good shape, fairways and tees hit-or-miss, and a layout that’s fairly fun. But at $90 for this level of disorganization, it’s hard to justify. Some basic fixes—communicating the “start on 10” policy, enforcing tee times, spacing intervals to 10–12 minutes, combining groups, and having marshals to manage pace—would completely change the experience. Until then, expect long waits, poor communication, and the possibility of leaving early like I did.

Nice track, would differently recommend playing. No complaints other than pace of play! Wish they had ranger out out on a course.
