Rockleigh Golf Course Blue 9 Tee Times

Blue 9 maintenance is terrible! I wish they could do a better maintenance. Course layout is not so bad since there are par4 and par5. However, it’s almost impossible to put the tee on the grass at tea box areas as there is no grass and ground is so hard. One good thing is not too crowded if you play early in the morning. I might visit again as it’s close to my place.

This course has 9 nine hole courses. When you book for 18 holes, you will be playing Red and White courses. They are both walkable and both courses have great layout and each holds with own characters. You won't be bored playing this course.

The cool, autumn-like weather was refreshing, the course was in great condition, and I had an enjoyable day with a good score.

The desk workers and rangers are something else, ridiculously rude. Let me say we did make a mistake on our reservation but people make mistakes. We even called ahead of time to clear up the mishap. The gentleman we spoke to on the phone said come in, we will make it work. We arrive at the course and the man at the desk was raising his voice and causing an argument, wouldn’t even let us speak. We offered to switch to the blue course, they gave us grief about this. We finally get the gentleman we spoke to on the phone. He again helps us (I wish I knew his name, he was the only positive aspect of this) and gets us slotted in. We pay, they over charged us. We played at 4:30pm and did not receive the late afternoon rates. And to be honest, if Bergen county is going to charge someone $100 dollars almost to play their courses, maybe they should actually take care of them. And if they charged us correctly then wow, that is crazy. This specific course was in horrific condition. Next we go see the starter; and look at that another employee arguing and yelling with us about every and anything. It was the most irritating interaction I’ve ever had at a golf course. Bergen county golf, do better because this is horrible. Never will I play another county course again and I live in Bergen county.

The staff member that checks the carts before going to Hole 1 is super rude and this course is not beginner friendly. Ruined the good time for my boyfriend and I. We will not be coming back.
