The Owl's Nest Resort is such a beautiful place! The area was so peaceful and the rooms were beautiful and clean. I loved that our room had a fireplace. My only nitpicks would be there for them to add a sit-down breakfast menu at their standard restaurant and for them to keep their hot tub warmer in the winter but that's about it!

We (family of 4 on a ski weekend) have travelled the world to various resorts and this felt more like a wedding venue that has lodging vs a resort that has weddings. The weddings typical end at 11pm and then after parties spring up in the different rooms until early morning. We stayed in the Lakeside condos which have shared porches (no divider) and the walls are paper thin. I could see where this could be fun for the right crew but if you are a family that is busy during the day and sleeps at night I would recommend somewhere else. Overall the room was ok but some things falling apart like our tub separating from the wall and drains not working correctly. The door to the shared porch didn’t lock completely and could be pulled open. The hotel pool is next to the wedding venue which is a bit odd. The guest reception (in photo) is a small temp building that closes around 9. As one reviewer said it is a newer modern development and they need to figure some things out. If you are looking for a quintessential New England experience this is not it. Maybe it’s better in the summer. Not trying to be over critical but these are things we wish we knew before booking.

I hands-down love every visit to Owl’s Nest. The grounds are gorgeous, the accommodations are beautiful, and the food is SO good. Their wedding and catering teams are truly top-notch - they know exactly what they’re doing, and as a planner, I LOVE working with them. And the venues - The LakeHouse, the Boathouse, and the Pavilion - are all absolutely stunning. They run such a tight ship and deliver incredible service from start to finish every time. Huge shoutout to Victoria and Lauren, who are always on top of every detail and such a joy to work with. I can’t wait for my next visit back and I truly can’t recommend Owl’s Nest enough for couples looking for an incredible resort to host their wedding at!
