It is exactly what you would expect from a mid tier 9 hole course. Some decent holes and some not so great. Condition varies from hole to hole, but it's not terrible. Affordable prices for some decent golf. It's a great place to work on your game and getting a tee time is relatively easy.

I recently visited what was advertised as a great golf course for beginners, but my experience was far from pleasant. The course was in poor condition, with uneven fairways and worn-out greens that made for a frustrating game. What made the experience worse was the unwelcoming attitude of the local players. Instead of the friendly environment one might expect at a course geared towards beginners, we encountered rudeness and hostility from the regulars who clearly did not want newcomers around. Additionally, the course was poorly equipped, lacking basic amenities and rental options that could have helped improve the experience. Given the unfriendly atmosphere and the course’s overall state, I strongly advise beginners to steer clear of this place. We won’t be returning.

Checked in around 10am—staff was friendly, especially the girl at the counter who got us set up quickly. It was about $30 a round per person at that time, and I also picked up a 3-pack of yellow Callaway Supersofts for $18 from the shop. We played from the white tees—me, my son, and a solid kid named Mac. Good group, good vibes all around. We were behind two older players and had a group behind us, one guy wearing a Happy Gilmore jersey (funny enough, he didn’t swing like him). Course is under new management. I’ve been coming here on and off for a year or two, and it looks like they’re trying to improve things. Some soggy spots, torn-up areas (probably from irrigation work), but still very playable. Saw a bunch of geese, a few black racer snakes curled up in the rough, and even some random animal bones in the grass—comes with the territory. A little muggy, a little smushy, but nothing that took away from the day. Overall, a great round with good people. Not quite five stars yet, but the course is headed in the right direction—and I’ll be back for sure. Pro tip: If you see a guy in a Happy Gilmore jersey, don’t assume he plays like Happy… but maybe give him a little space just in case.
