Didn't play here, but saw this massive patch of greenery as we were driving by on our way to visit friends in Mesquite. Looked to be a very nicely laid out course with attractive water features made more pleasant by the arid skyline and surroundings.

First time and last time. The internet rate is less than what they charge. There is green grass on the driving range, but no where else. Don’t watch the videos on YouTube that show this course because it looks nothing like it is now. Sand is hard… I mean concrete hard. Cart paths are cracked and broken all over. Fairways and greens are all painted green. Fairways are hard and dead. Greens are hard and dead. You can hit the greens on an approach shot and they don’t make ball marks…because it’s so hard. No gps on carts. No ball washers anywhere. I live on a city course that is 30 min from this place that is green with real grass and charges 35 less for 18 holes. Way too overpriced for what it is. I will never refer this course or drive here for golf again. It’s too bad, because it has potential.

I enjoyed my visit to the Palms. The greens were in great shape in June. The price was great and the staff was nice. The front nine is nothing special. It seems as though they could have used the water a bit better on the front nine to Make it more interesting. I hardly noticed the water as it wasn't very close to the fairways or greens except for the carry on #7 par 3. The back nine was much more interesting with several elevation changes up and down. My favorite holes are #'s 10, 15, 17.
