Frederick Peak Golf Club Tee Times

Frederick Peak Golf Club is a true hidden gem and one of the best values in golf anywhere. Tucked away in Valentine, this course delivers an experience that rivals some of the most well-known destinations in the country. What makes it special is how it blends elements of two of Nebraska’s most famous layouts, The Prairie Club’s Dunes and Pines courses, into one unforgettable round. You get the wide-open feel and rolling terrain of the Dunes course combined with the tree-lined beauty and variety of the Pines course, all wrapped into a single design that feels both unique and familiar. The layout is nothing short of spectacular. The holes are carved through rolling sandhills with stunning views and natural elevation changes that keep every shot exciting. It is challenging but fair, giving you opportunities to score while also demanding strategy and precision. The greens are smooth, the fairways are well kept, and the course conditions rival those of much higher-priced resorts. What makes Frederick Peak stand out even more is the incredible value. To play a course of this quality at such a great rate is almost unheard of. One of the most unique features is that Frederick Peak is not a traditional 9-hole course. Instead, it offers 10 holes, which adds a fun and memorable twist. It is the kind of place where you walk off the 10th green already planning your next trip back. For golfers who love the Nebraska Sandhills style of golf, this is a must-play. Frederick Peak Golf Club is proof that you do not need to pay top resort prices to enjoy world-class golf. An absolute hidden treasure that deserves far more recognition.

We did not have a tee time but Jackie at the front desk squeezed us in and boy, are we glad she did! Fabulous fairways and greens. Great layout. Absolutely a must play if you are in the area. Skulls are the yardage markers and the carts have GPS, which you will need.

Wow! This place is amazing. I don’t think you will find a course in this condition with this much character for the price! I can’t wait to come back and play here again. It is a mixture of links and mountain golf with each hole having a unique flavor all its own. I love the natural bunkers and the greens are huge with tons of undulations. Very challenging yet playable for an 18 handicap such as myself. Loved it!

Freddy P is a hidden gem in every sense of the phrase. Well maintained, beautiful views, and absolutely incredible hole design. The majority of holes wouldn’t have looked out of place on a course that costs hundreds of dollars. If you are EVER in Valentine NE with your clubs in the trunk, take two hours and play Fredrick Peak. I’ll Venmo you if you regret it.
