Concert venue review - we do not golf! We saw Shane Smith & the Saints here for a show with Jackson Dean and Tyler Anthony. This is a nice little venue! Standard cost for concert drinks and decent food selection if you wanted to eat. VIP section was the entire area in front of the stage with a trailer of nice air conditioned bathrooms off to the side, plus a bar off to the other side so you didn't have to walk to the back for drinks. Decent size stage and good sound and lights! We were at the front rail for the entire show and the venue was ok with the band coming out to the rail after for autographs and pictures! Not all venues will allow this or stay open for this to happen. We had a great night and would 10/10 go back again. We drove from WI to see this show.

I want to start by saying that, in terms of course quality, this is easily one of the top five public courses in Nebraska. However, as someone who plays here regularly, it’s disappointing to see the noticeable decline since James (the former pro) left.
Tee times are often scheduled far too close together, leading to backups of three or four groups on a single hole. As you can imagine, this makes the pace of play extremely slow — at times almost unbearable. Unfortunately, the pro shop doesn’t seem to have marshals out regulating play, which is badly needed, especially with the recent increase in rates. Either better on-course monitoring or more spacing between tee times would make a big difference.
Course maintenance could also use some attention. After last year’s storm, many trees still have dead branches hanging, and there are random piles of debris in the rough that should have been cleared long ago.
Another ongoing issue is with the beverage carts, which consistently run out of Crown Apple and other popular liquors that used to be standard offerings.
And while I understand that dress codes can be relaxed at public courses, it’s hard to justify $90 greens fees when there are players out there in T-shirts and cargo shorts.
Overall, while the course itself remains excellent, the management side needs significant improvement to justify the higher prices. Hopefully, these issues will be addressed by next season — especially with the new pro shop on the way.

Impeccably maintained golf course. Paid $83 for a 6:38 tee time and a medium bucket of range balls. Traveled from Texas for work and stopped by for a round on a Friday morning. Friendly staff, iconic clubhouse, and flawless groundskeeping. Not the easiest course for the beginner golfer, the rough and general layout is challenging! Great value for the intermediate and scratch golfer!
