Wedgewood is always a great place for a round of golf, and their new greens are super nice! They are on the slower side in comparison to other courses in the area. Either they have begun enforcing the "no cooler" policy harder, or the grumpy ranger just didn't care for us younger guys. All we had was water and Gatorade with us since it was going to be on the hotter side, told the guy he was more than willing to check it and we were answered with "I don't care what's in it". The "cooler" they provide (after you have to leave your ID with them?) is basically a bag and our ice was melted before we made the turn. Seems kind of crappy not to allow people to just use their own coolers on a hot day as long as they are checked for outside alcohol. That's how most courses I play at in the area handle it if they even check your cart for a cooler at all..

I’ve played this course 3 times, the first 2 times I loved my experience. Still one of my favorite courses I have played. For the price, you can’t beat wedgewood. Very friendly staff and pro. I love the blind tee boxes on this course. Created a very challenging experience for golfers of all skill levels. The 3rd time I played here the greens were pretty dead. Unfortunately not sure what happened there but it was definitely a one off thing. I recommend this course!

It was raining at first, but the weather got better. The greens were great! They were fast, but they were in great shape.
