Beautiful scenery, awesome location, this course has the potential to be a destination course for public use, however….
the greens were horrendous and only the front 9 was open, in addition to holes 10 and 18 on back nine; which apparently we could’ve played but nobody told us about it until after we finished and inquired since we saw people playing on #18.
I really hope someone invests in this course because it could be such a great asset for vacationers who aren’t part of a country club up here! Especially if the brewery they market actually was open and had live music or other reasons to visit and stay post golf.

I want to be upfront—course conditions at Sapphire National Golf Club this past weekend weren’t ideal. That said, everything else about the experience was top-notch. I was there with a group of guys for a friend’s wedding, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better time.
The layout of the course is extremely challenging—it rewards smart, strategic play over simply hitting it long, which made for a fun and engaging round.
Nick, who took great care of us, was outstanding. We were fortunate to have much of the course to ourselves, and he was incredibly attentive to anything we needed throughout the day.
While I might not return solely for the course conditions, I’ll absolutely be back for the overall experience—and that’s thanks to Nick. Much appreciated!

What a beautiful place! I've been playing here for a couple of years. This year, the course maintenance improved greatly. They still struggle keeping the bunkers in good shape, but the fairways and greens are in good shape. The super likes to place some weird pins, but so is golf! The views and wildlife are beautiful and abundant. It's one of my favorite mountain courses! The course can have some really wet spots when it rains. But again, that's golf. Nick, the car attendant, proshop guy, and basically everything else, is super friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the restaurant is closed due to under staffing. A must play when in the area!
