We recently stayed at The Lodge of Four Seasons for their Valentine’s Day package and arrived a day early to enjoy a full weekend getaway.
We were especially looking forward to this stay because we had celebrated Valentine’s Day here before and had an amazing experience, which is why we chose to return.
While we did experience some challenges with the Valentine’s dinner portion of the package, I want to sincerely acknowledge how the resort handled our feedback afterward.
The front desk manager personally called me to thank me for my review, let me know he appreciated the suggestions, and shared that they would be using them to improve future large events. He also refunded a portion of our stay, which was very kind and completely unexpected.
That level of thoughtfulness and care truly matters. It made us feel heard and valued as guests.
The room itself was lovely, and the champagne and chocolate-covered strawberries in our Junior Suite were a beautiful touch. While the dinner experience didn’t meet expectations this time, the way management responded afterward made a lasting impression.
Because of the kindness, professionalism, and genuine concern shown by the staff, Greg and I will definitely be back. We are confident our next experience will be everything we remember — and more.

Overall, I was disappointed. For the price, not much was available- the movie theater is currently being renovated, the gift shop was always locked, arcade was locked, no microwave in the room-we had to walk all the way across the hotel to use one, and you have to request your room to be cleaned. The hallway carpets don’t fit properly and are very dirty. The one thing that was nice was the front desk staff and our waiter at HK’s. I love the waterfall in the hotel.

Overall the hotel is good and clean. Outdated, but still nice. We did a wellness package. The spa and the service at the spa. Top notch!
Everything about booking the package to using the package was horrible.
Called to book this over the weekend. Played phone tag with Beth a manager who did not want to help until Monday. I had to call back during my lunch on monday....no answer. Lmao.
We booked the next day with some guy manager who was great. From there no one mentions the package to you. We had to ask about it at check in....still not clear on how it worked. Got the free breakfest voucher. It was for 1 guest but we were suppose to have two. Turns out the card that was for 1 really meant for 2. Had to ask this. The process is messy and not laid out. This unclear messaging happened at each stop of the package.
Overall booking and figure out what to do was a 1 out of 5 experience.
Normally, I share this all on the survey they send...but the link was broken when trying to submit. The outdated system and hotel shines through.
Again, the spa and the service there was truly 10 out of 10!
