We had a tee time for two that was scheduled in the later morning. We were able to start our round on time but the pace of play slowed as the morning waned on the front 9. Several groups of other players had a started a scramble tournament on the back 9 and then interspersed themselves with others on the front 9. The polite way to describe it would be that the course was extremely popular and the club house staff was embracing the popularity. Even once we had gotten to the back 9 the pace of play was slow; there were multiple groups of 5 or more who resisted the urge to allow smaller, faster groups to play through. The power carts all seemed older but they worked. A lot of the amenities of the facility had closed because it was past Labor Day.
The course itself was in good condition; there were a lot of dog legs to navigate and lengthy par 3s. It was nice to see a proper par 5 green on hole 2 where the green was smaller. With the exception of holes 8, 9, 15, 17, and 18 the course did not offer much for elevation changes.

We went to Sugar Brooke to use the driving range. Very nice range and all of the Pro Shop staff were awesome. They gave us more range balls than we paid for and were given a ride to the range that is quite far from the Pro Sop.
We were treated royally.
