I have played Dahlgreen over the last twenty years. Generally has been a decent experience. A couple of week ago we decided to play on the weekend. Our day started when Ms Congeniality (lady at the front desk with her arm in a sling) replied to my inquiry about being charged full price for green fees and cart rather than Sr. rates on a weekend morning. She abruptly responded that it is posted on Dahlgreens website. Sure enough it's there along with the two asterisks ** indicating the pricing is only valid after 2:00PM on weekends. So after $150+ for two green fees and cart we are headed to the first tee. As we approached our second shots on hole #1 we quickly discovered we were playing behig 2 fivesomes on a weekend morning, trust me I have played behind fivesomes that played ready golf, were decent golfers and moved along, this wasn't the case with the two groups ahead of us. Needless to say we will be spending our discretionary income elsewhere. At $70 per person Dahlgreen is not the value it once was. There are other courses in the metro that are in better shape, friendlier, better price point and much better overall experience. Oh.... almost forgot the bunker on #3, photo below ....

Played Dahlgren for the first time this spring and a was pleasantly surprised with the course. I looked all over the website to see if they have a driving range - nothing. When I got there I asked a regular and was told it is located a quarter mile east of the course. I will play there again.
