This course was very beautiful and well kept. My family stopped in for the wing special on Wednesday, and the wings were large with good flavor. I visited the next day with my cousin and we rented clubs and a bag of balls for $20 for the driving range. Beautiful weather and fair price for what you get.

I’ve played most of the Brainerd and northern resort courses and Headwaters is as good or better than most of those that are twice the price. Loved every hole. Truly a Northwoods gem. Add this one to your Must Play list. Always have some of the best greens I play on all year.

This gem is hidden right in the heartland of Minnesota. Our golf trip group wanted to add one more round on our way home from Nisswa, and Headwaters was able to accomodate our last minute request for 12 people. The course is beautifully manicured and the greens are fast and challenging. The layout is spreadout and the entire course offers just the right amount of challenge. The GM met us on the eleventh green to inquire how our round was going and if we wanted to eat after. They held the kitchen open for us for an extra half hour so everyone could enjoy a meal. Headwaters should expect to see us back in 2020.
