Tartan Park Golf Course Tee Times

Tartan Park has aged into a very nice place to play golf. Greens were firm and very somewhat quick, even after a month’s worth of rain. They have always had quick greens, just surprised at the good condition of them. The fairways were also in very good shape. First cut of the rough was very thick, not overly tall, just thick; better to play from the fairways, if possible. They have a helpful staff, from the Pro shop to the starters and course help. Don’t forget to show up very early for your tee time to allow practice on the large putting green, or the chipping green. Both are in very good shape.

Course was in great shape especially considering the weather we have had in the area. The greens and fairways were well groomed and kept. The rough (which I saw a lot of) was consistent and healthy which is something in a golf course I like. The layout was refreshing as well. It had some holes that were very unique to give it some added difficulty.

Of all the courses I play throughout the summer, I miss this one the most. Hole # 5 White is one of my favorites in the cities. The terrain is amazing, the care taken of the grounds and gardens is perfection. Staff is always respectful and professional. Love this Golf Experience!

Our experience with Tartan and their second party they contract out to Prom Catering, for my daughters wedding, was horrendous. The Only thing that was good, and I can actually say was fantastic was the food and the service of the food. And do not expect any help from Prom Catering the day of the wedding, because they will not be found. There was also a theft of over $500.00 from the card box that was supposed to be locked in a mangers room, which it obviously was not. And security even said they would make sure it was taken care of and it was not. Also, I have been trying to get ahold of Amy, our coordinator about retrieving the decorations used from a third party returned and as of yet have not gotten a reply from, the wedding was 6/15/2013. So I am hoping by posting this in their reviews I may get a response.

Played the course for the first time a couple of weeks ago and really enjoyed it. This course in the past was just open to 3Mers but is now open to the public. The staff was friendly at check in and the course was in great shape. I'll definitely come back again and play.
