Braemar Golf Dome Tee Times

Nice setup. With Toptracer you can play courses and games like in a simulator but you get to see the flight of your ball. You can also just hit balls and ignore the tracer software. This is an ideal way to practice through the winter.

This review is for the Golf dome leagues. + Facility is great. Nice, with a small bar + Small committment, only 8 weeks + No schedule - play your round at any time + Chipping for putts, no sim putting - Because there is weekly prize money, cheating is widespread and there is no mechanism to prevent cheating or enforce fair play. If cheating bothers you, do not play this in the league as you will be frustrated. I have never seen a single 20+ handicap shoot 65-70 in real life... but it happened many times each week in this league (before handicap, so net 40-50). Many players scored 90+ one week and 65 the next. We are competent golfers playing honestly and were rarely within 10 strokes of the top team each week. - Bay time isn't included - We spent ~$600 plus league fees. - You need to manually enter scores into Golf Genius. There is no integration between Top Tracer and Golf Genius, which probably would solve the cheating aspect. Format details The format is 8 weeks. Teams are sorted into brackets after the first week and handicapped. Handicaps are adjusted throughout the 8 weeks. You take the best score between you and your partner on each hole. The top 5ish places in each bracket win free bay time (First place each week paid $110 in credits). Overall, there's no real purpose to playing the league. You can just book bay time and play the courses.

Indoor Golf practice range with Simulator technology and you can see 60ish yard of real ball flight. The best you can do in a MN winter.

With the new golf simulators at each bay, it's not just practice anymore! I'm more motivated to go, when I can play a round! Yardage may not be your friend, but it does help to visualize! This dome is clean, and has a very challenging putting green. Please don't go on Sunday mornings, there is always a wait!
