I have always enjoyed the Prairies as it was close by and usually in good shape. We had a tee time for today for four seniors and when we checked in we were absolutely amazed at the price $48 dollars for the senior rate. The tee boxes were fine, most of the greens were in good shape. There were 3 that were scared up from what looked like a burn of some kind that was healing. The traps, notice I did not say sand were absolutely horrid. There was no sand only dirt, spots of grass, and some dandelions. Many of the traps hand more rocks than some gravel pits. The gentleman that checked us in was pleasant and the young lady in the bar was also nice. The Prairies in its present condition is not a $48 senior rate golf course. It has a long way to go before it will be worth that. Oh well the weather was nice and the carts were comfortable for our last time playing the Prairies.

Disappointed in the new policy that doesn't allow groups of 2 before noon on Weekends. We were not allowed to book a time despite there being plenty of availability less than 24 hours in advance. We enjoyed playing here multiple times last summer but will go elsewhere.

Better shaped than the last time I played, which was 15 years ago. Competetively priced for two golfers, 9 holes, and a cart. $55 total. Soft greens, soft fairways, and the tee boxes were in good shape. Very straight course, not a lot of hazards. A relaxed round of golf, we enjoyed ourselves and will be back.
