Beautiful course with tons of history. It was like going back in time. So many greats have played this course with very little change over the years. What makes this great is it is a private course with members but they allow the public to visit as well keeping the course in immaculate shape. Yes you will not find alcohol or ball washers and you will find dirt cart paths and hickory flag sticks which golf ball wacker guys probably won't appreciate. These same golfers probably won't appreciate the rangers keeping the pace going for those who aren't at the course for Fireball shots and to harass the carts girl. If you love flat tee boxes, true rolling greens, a course loaded with history that you can play in 4 hours or less.....this is your course!

Love the history behind this course - feels special when you’re out there. Few amenities, but that’s fine. Really enjoyed this course. Greens and fairway in great condition. Friendly staff and they let us out early to play as a twosome instead of pairing us up. Really appreciate when they can make that happen as I know it’s not always possible. Would love to play again!
