Warren Valley was previously two separate 18 hole courses, the East and West courses. It is now only one, the West course. It was designed by Donald Ross and although at the current state not in meticulous shape, the course is still a fun one to play. Greens are new(and hard) which doesn’t allow for much spin. They are however quick and roll true. Tee boxes are in decent shape. And although previous reviews trashed the course for being wet or the rough too long with clumps, you choose to golf in the spring at a course called Warren Valley, with Valley being the key word. I had a good time playing today, however the round was 6 hours, and today it is 88 degrees, there is no water for drinking on the course and no cart driving around offering drinks or snacks, which would be fine if you could easily access the clubhouse or if they had a snack shack at the turn. Regarding the pace of play. I was walking and playing with a guy in a cart, his cart had a newly installed GPS, the cart, although we were playing at 6 hour pace, told him we were only 4 minutes behind. They need to get this fixed as everyone(speaking of those who don’t know which tee box to tee from let alone how to get out of the cart and walk to their ball while your playing partner is doing the same) who looks at those will think they are playing at a okay pace, and 6 hours ain’t that. Driving range looks like it will be nice, and hopefully a renovated clubhouse is in the future as well. Would love to see this place back to its former glory as it really is a nice piece of property(minus the crisscrossing of cart paths(although smooth))

First off Course is not easy to find and there is no signage that says Warren Valley Golf Course. Play was literally the slowest I've ever played and I've played slow almost 7 hours!!!!! For 18. No Ranger insuring play is moving along at a decent pace. Course was a 5 out of 10 for condition. Greens a 6 out of 10 for condition. Fun course could be better. Also why shut down the other 9 holes?? Seems like you have enough players for it. Overall decent course.

⛳ Warren Valley Golf Course, Dearborn Heights, Michigan: 👍👍👍👎🏽👎🏽 Experience a Day of Golf at Warren Valley Golf Course in Dearborn Heights, where the overall experience is mixed but still offers enjoyable moments. COURSE QUALITY👍: The course at Warren Valley is maintained reasonably well. However, some of the holes are situated quite close to each other, which can lead to golfers hitting into adjacent fairways. We played on the West side of the course, while the East side was also available. SERVICE & HOSPITALITY👎: Unfortunately, the service and hospitality at Warren Valley Golf Course were lacking. There was no cart girl on the course, and the overall service could use improvement. AMENITIES👎: Amenities at Warren Valley Golf Course also fell short of expectations. Additionally, the Proshop charges a 3% fee on credit card transactions, which was unexpected. We chose to pay in cash, but it’s unusual for a golf course to pass credit card fees onto golfers. This policy could benefit from reevaluation, similar to practices at other courses. VALUE for MONEY👍: Despite some shortcomings, the course still provides reasonable value for money. We played for $48. However, the added credit card fee was a drawback that could deter some golfers. LOCATION & ACCESSIBILITY👍: Conveniently located in Dearborn Heights, Warren Valley Golf Course is easily accessible, making it a practical choice for local golfers. In summary, Warren Valley Golf Course in Dearborn Heights offers a decent golfing experience but has room for improvement in service and amenities. The course itself is maintained adequately, though closely situated holes can present challenges. With better service and a reevaluation of the credit card fee policy, Warren Valley could provide an even more enjoyable experience.
