I liked this course a lot. It was beautiful. The course had a good amount of challenges, but it wasn't difficult in a bad way. The cart we had was a bit of a lemon, but it wasn't a big deal. Overall, I recommend this course.

I used to golf at Hickory Creek back in my college days in the mid-90's. I thought it was nice back then...it's in even better shape now! It's a great value for this course! The course is well-groomed and playable. I still love this course after all these years!

This used to be my go-to course since it's fun, close and "was" always a friendly place to play until my last 2 rounds where this one particular ranger would hide up on a hill or behind a tree like a hawk and spy of golfers like a creeper and that made it very uncomfortable for me. Until he's no longer there I WONT be back there to play, and I would not recommend anyone else to either. The guy is just a weirdo and thinks he's something he isn't. I'm assuming his wife or gf bosses him around and he thinks he can let out his frustrations on the players when he's on the job. I'll go back when he's no longer employed there.
