Conditions were not worth the price of greens fees. The actual greens were very nice. Fairways and traps were not up to snuff. We had to change carts three times to get a decent one.

Very cool course to play. You can see they are making significant improvements to this course, which will be amazing! Staff were friendly, rangers were very nice and helpful. Just an overall great golf outing! I would definitely recommend hitting this course if in the Houghton Lake area!

What an absolute beauty of a day. The front nine plays like a serious tournament style course, while the back brings some of that northern-forest charm. The new owners have done a fantastic job cleaning this place up. There's still some work to do (sands a bit chunky, fringe was chewed up in spots) but the greens are tight and fast, the fairways are smooth, and the rough was consistent. I'll play this all damn day for $40/walking. Kudos to the team too. Everyone I spoke with was extremely friendly and accomodating. You can tell they're looking to make something special with this place. The lawn chair facing the driving range gives you a nice view of Houghton Lake too. Perfect place to relax with a bevy after a serene round.
