⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Veteran Golfers Association – Forest Akers West Event Our VGA Michigan tournament at Forest Akers West was a great experience, even with challenging spring weather. The course, located on the campus of Michigan State University, was in solid condition despite wind and passing rain. The layout offered a fair test of golf with a beautiful and collegiate atmosphere. The staff was welcoming and helpful, and the course flowed well even with a full field. Players appreciated the quality of the greens and the overall professionalism of the venue. A huge thank you to the Forest Akers team for hosting our group of veterans and families. $85 to play on the weekend, course was absolutely packed. Had to wait 20 minutes between shots which is totally unacceptable at this price. Then to top it off, fairways looked like this on almost every hole.

Part two to this great golf course brought to you by Michigan State University! Be aware there is a Forest Akers East, be sure to double check which course your making a tee time for! Lots of parking, can get busy so be prepared. Pricing is just right for what they offer!
