Wakefield Valley Golf Club Tee Times

I pulled up to the course at 6:45 am to find only another group there. They're tee time was 7:02. the only person at the course was a guy cutting grass. It appeared that one set of 9 holes was not maintained any longer. When I left at 6:58 the guy on the lawn mower had come to tell the 7:02 tee time that the person in charge was on his way. I took a quick glance at the shape of the first tee box and fairway and that told me all I needed to know. I left and played another course right up the road. This place should be bought by someone who wants to make it what I heard it once was or used as a trash dump.

Owner was extremely rude to me regarding the use of a Groupon Deal that was expired. I grew up playing Wakefield Valley and I used to work there. There is no question that this course is not what is used to be. I would not recommend playing there since there are several other courses in the area that would never treat their customers the way I was treated. I strongly believe that a business is led from the top down and if the owner treated me that way, what would the rest of the staff do?

This place has been aptly described by the others. Please save your time and money. The course was unplayable. The grass had not been cut in what appeared to be weeks and any ball not in the middle of a fairway was lost. It's a shame because this course has the layout to be very nice but save your money and go elsewhere.

Poor place is falling apart, golf carts will die on you.Especially the blue coarse, this only happened to us every time. Seriously no joke we had to push it up the hill every time we played it, we must be idiots for playing it. If it wheren't for the views i wouldnt go there. No water in the ball washer, some are broke and even missing, come on guys. Grass is rarely cut, so if your ball curves on you like most of my swings, good luck trying to find it and let alone hit out of the thick grass. This poor place is like a ghost town. They must not have the money to keep up on the maintence or the they just don't care. Too bad, this place has such potential.

This place has been closed down for some time now. There is a walking trial, but rather creepy to go there alone. I felt very isolated. The boarded up club house didn't make it feel any better.
