My buddies and I made the trip from Gonzales to Patterson today to play this course. The course, pro shop and restaurant personnel were very friendly, helpful and provided great customer service (5⭐️). The greens fees were a great price (

The Course is a beautiful design. Sadly the Course is in horrible shape. The tee boxes are missing markers and the greens are in sad shape. They need new carts with GPS. I would love to play here again after it's in top shape. The best part is the Club House. It is just awesome! The food looked delicious and the bar is fully stocked.

Played here for the first time ever today. I do love the design. It is different from the others around Lafayette. Kind of a Links hybrid. Others are correct that it’s in pretty rough shape. If you didn’t hit the fairway though you can probably kiss that ball goodbye because it looks like it’s been a week since they mowed next to the fairways or greens which was frustrating especially for a Sunday. I did find a lot of other peoples balls though. Others I ran into were saying the same thing about how hard it was to find their ball. Greens were in very rough shape. Only a couple greens were decent. Most tee boxes had a lot more dirt than grass. There were no drink/snack carts. Price to play imo was too high for condition of the course. I’ve played a lot of different courses and this was rough. Things I liked were unlimited range balls were included. Fairways were in consistently good shape. Great clubhouse. Gatorade was fair priced. Golf carts were good. They did have plenty of water stations which was great since it was really hot today. Raccoons also come up to carts for food which was funny. One was looking in my golf bag lol. So much potential for this place. It easily could be the best course in Acadiana if it was kept up properly. Loved the layout.
