Diamond Caverns Resort & Golf Club Tee Times

First off, let me start by saying I DID go to the front desk abt the issues we experienced before I contacted RCI....We, four of us, checked in on Friday, Aug 22nd, it seemed lovely, except for the trees growing out of the gutters & the weathered porches, but we thought exterior looks don't always represent the interior....boy, were we wrong! We'll start with the wasp nests encasing the lightbulb in the porch light outside the door(if you're deathly allergic like I am, this is a problem) then the other nest over the sitting area(we were given Masters 3). So we open the door & walk into a nice livingroom & dining area, master with jetted tub & nice size bathroom to the left(no shower), then into the kitchen where appliances seem newer, deck out back was very sketchy & the abundance of gutter buildup was very troubling. To the left of the kitchen was the 2nd bedroom with a smaller bathroom, shower & tub....thats where the real concern started the next morning. My cousin noticed immediately all of the water damage they had, including on the floor in front of the tub, when she stepped out, she almost went through the floor! Then she started noticing the black mold around the drains, the towel bar in the tub & around the fixtures. So I started looking in mine...sure enough water damage on the toilet side of the tub, mushy floor, black mold around sink drain, fixtures & tub scum up on the the sides of the tub itself(indicating it hadn't been cleaned in a while) my cousin's feet were black after walking around in her bathroom, so that meant none of the floors had been washed either. So, ok....full lysol disinfection, used their white towels to clean the black mold & wipe up floor. No biggie, right?! Then we left to go to the pool....wow! From far away...it looked amazing....then you open the gate. Inside the gate is decrepit, crumbling tiles & concrete, fist sized holes, uneven jagged concrete, wasps nests behind the chairs attached to the pump house. The pool itself has black caulking(so dirty & moldy), then we saw a guy & his very pregnant wife came in, as he was trying to get out, the ladder he was climbing went straight into the ground as he stepped up & he fell back in the pool( the railing hit the tile so hard it broke), thank god it wasn't the wife! Then my cousin went to get out on the other ladder & slipped back in bc of the algae. The seams & all around every edge on the lights, steps & water spouts in the pool have thick, black & green mossy algae. There are actually water skimmer bugs living & thriving in the pool! Every time we entered the condo after being out, the musty smell of mold & mildew hit you so hard it was making my cousin ill bc she has a severe mold allergy. The floors in the kitchen & bathrooms were so filthy, our slippers(mine were new) are completely black now. I did go up to the desk on Tuesday to have words with the staff. They said we could move but from the most recent reviews....I don't think there was anything better & the pool was still a disaster. Plus with all of the stuff we came with, moving would be an absolute inconvenience! I called RCI & I'm sending all pics & videos to them, hopefully they cancel their partnership. By Friday, nothing was done with the broken pool ladder, no sign put out, nothing....it seems they do the bare minimum. Do not stay here!

Horrible golf course, broke my cart because of the horrible golf carts paths are all washed out on the course. Even worse paid for 18 holes and they only have 17 holes. EVERY GREEN has cancer you need to use your 60 degree to put to get over the hazards, and the fairways are even worse. The greens keepers that mow dont even stop for you to take a shot. Do yourself a favor go somewhere else or be very disappointed. Its not even worth the price of admission if your any kinda golfer at all. Just stay away.

The Pro Shop Staff was so friendly!.The Course is beautiful and Carts are well taken care of,It’s a very affordable place to play. Bringing a group next weekend!

Price is great, greens are little rough. It is pretty challenging with a lot of hills and trees.

Such a beautiful facility! Everyone is so helpful and the course and condos are wonderful! Very peaceful!
