Great Course. Felt longer than I remember, but I am getting older. Friendly staff, and I thought the prices were phenomenal for food, beer, and the course. Vast Driving range, nice practice green, and the course is very well maintained. Clean restrooms, clean carts, and pretty challenging. Will play here again, and will refer golfers to the course. Well done!

We spent a few days down in Sellersburg, IN and wanted to get a round of golf in. Found this course on Google Maps and decided to set up a tee time. First off the customer service is top notch! From the minute she answered the phone she was very friendly and wasted no time setting up my tee time. Arrived at the course about 15 minutes early and went straight to the club house. Checked in and again very friendly and fun to talk with. Excellent customer service. The club house is very well stocked and easy to get around in. Directly out front of the club house is a multi level driving range and and some putting greens. Carts are all in good shape and were lined up and ready to go even that early in the morning. I was directed to the first tee which is located just to the left front of the club house. From the first tee to many of the next holes on the course the elevation changes and undulating fairways is nothing short of impressive. This course can seem intimidating but I would recommend it to any level of golfer. The fairways are not real wide but even if you miss on the majority of the holes you will will be safe. The rough is definitely not where you want to be but you should be able to recover nicely. The greens and the fairways were all in really great shape. The tee boxes were a little on the furry side but still in good condition. Water does come into play on a number of the holes as well. The bunkers were in good condition and seemed to be filled with decent sand. Some of the holes slope from left to right and can make it a bit challenging off the tee so you do have to try to place a few of your shots. The cart paths are paved throughout the course and are in great condition as well. They also have the yardage painted on the cart paths! Something I have not seen before but very useful!. really can't say enough about this course except that it is a must play when in the area. I was very impressed with the two young ladies in the club house and with the course as a whole. Thanks for a great first time experience and I will see you in the fall!

$37 for 18 holes is a great deal anywhere but especially with conditions like here. Not perfect or nevel meade conditions level, but very very good for the price. Fun layout, not boring, not too rough. Fun place to go

8/21/2026. The 4.5 rating and a future scramble gave me enough incentive to return and play again at Hidden Creek. I remember when this course and Sultans Run opened in 1992 adding to the golf explosion of that era. On the Kentucky side you had a fairly new Quail Chase open in 88, in 90/91 you had Nevel Meade and Undulata (Weissinger) giving us golfers more variety during that period. Two years later in 1994, Covered Bridge would become the new favorite...The $33 rate for a senior would be a decent deal back in 92 but it's even a better deal in 2026. With the cheaper rates comes a full tee sheet thus lots of play and unfortunately conditions have started to deteriorate late in the summer. First the good; The price is equal to the course, good practice facility, reasonable concessions and friendly staff. The tee boxes and fairways were also full zoysia grass with a few thin areas on both. The golf carts were gas powered and showed their age. The paths were decent for the most part. Bunkers had sand and were good to go. The bad; Tee boxes, fairways, rough and greens needed some serious mowing and greens needed to be rolled. The greens were running at a snail's pace thus the cutting and rolling were essential to have a chance to sink a reasonable putt. Several greens were also in terrible condition. Furry bentgrass surrounded the pins and numerous bare spots made these greens almost unplayable. If they were soaked, they would have been a muddy mess. The original 18 layout in my opinion feels compressed with zero wow factor. I haven't played the newer 9 but it appeared busy and in good condition. The fairways at HC are not very wide putting a premium on the tee. There are a few too many thread the needle tee and approach shots. I noticed they did clear out some trees, added more fairway and moved the green on #16 making that par 5 less ridiculous than when it first existed. The high power towers and lines can also come into play adding to the industrial asthetics that shouldn't appear and affect play on golf courses like here, Valley View, Old Capital and Lindsey @ Fort Knox. I should know, having hit the power lines at Old Cap and Lindsey more than once. I would rank Hidden Creek and Valley View about even this season. They both are having condition issues this summer with either goat ranch fairways or mangy greens. Both designs were not well thought out placing fellow golfers at risk of being tagged by a wayward shot. The way I see it, there are only but a handful of public courses that deserve a 5 star rating in the Kentuckiana area with consistent excellent conditions and a fun, fair layout with very few negatives; Chariot Run, Champions Pointe, Sultans Run, Belterra, Heritage Hill and maybe Covered Bridge and Nevel Meade. Further north you can add in the PFAU, Otter Creek, The Fort, Brickyard, Praire View etc... Unfortunately the public rating for Hidden Creek could not live up to its rating today for me or probably ever in the future unless a major redesign was to take place. This track gets a 3.5 due to the layout, lack of course amenities and mostly overall condition. It's an average golf course with nice zoysia fairways and 15 of 18 playable but very slow rolling greens. This course does deserve a 4.5 for practice areas, good value, friendly staff and bargin concessions.
