Sweet and small par-3 type golf course. The irrigation system was broken, so the greens and fairways were not ideal.

This course is not bad, but it's not very good, either.
The layout is a fun - four par 4's and the rest are par 3's. There are a some water hazards and OB's, and apartments line many of the fairways, and there are many ginormous trees that are close to the playing lines. But you should score well: I'm a 24 handicap, and I shot 17 over par.
The bad news: As of September, 2024, there are no golf maintenance professionals employed there any more. (The guy at the cash register says they quit.) And on top of this is the decision last year by management (which, I get the impression, is far, far away) to abandon all the sand traps to save money. And now, since there are no professionals keeping the grass healthy, about half of the greens are in terrible shape. The bad greens are filled with pock marks from little patches of dead grass.
Then there are the actual holes. It looks to me that they choose the best pin placement based on the pattern of pock marks back on June and haven't moved the holes since then - the grass is growing into the hole. I'd say half of our made putts did not get to the bottom of the cup.
Sigh!
This kinda sucks to have you say these things - the remaining staff is wonderful. But big corporate management seems to have screwed it up ... badly.
