Macktown Golf Course Tee Times

Macktown Golf Course is a decent little track if you’re looking for a casual, no-frills round. The course layout is fairly straightforward, with a few holes offering some nice scenery along the river. It’s definitely on the shorter side, which makes it friendly for beginners and those just looking to get a quick round in. That said, the course conditions can be hit or miss depending on the time of year. The greens are usually in okay shape, but the fairways and tee boxes sometimes get a little rough. The clubhouse is small and a bit dated, but the staff is generally friendly and welcoming. Pricing is reasonable, and it’s a good value for what it is — just don’t expect a country club experience. It’s a classic municipal-style course where you can enjoy a relaxed round with friends without breaking the bank. Overall, Macktown is fine for a casual day of golf, but probably not a destination course if you’re looking for something more polished.

Macktown Golf Course is one of those places that’s good for what it is — a simple, affordable public course. It’s a nice option if you’re just looking to get out and swing the clubs without a lot of pressure. The course itself is pretty open and forgiving, which makes it ideal for casual players and those still learning the game. The layout isn’t anything too special, but a few holes by the river add a little character. Conditions vary — some days the greens roll decent, other times they’re a bit slow and bumpy. Fairways and bunkers could use a little more attention, but for the price, it’s hard to complain too much. Staff is usually polite, and it’s easy to get a tee time, especially during the week. The clubhouse is pretty basic with limited amenities, but it gets the job done. Overall, Macktown is an average course that serves its purpose for a quick, low-stress round. It won’t blow you away, but it’s a reliable spot to play a casual 18 with friends.

We almost got hit by a golf ball from a different t-box 3 times and some t-boxes are blocking a drive by big oak trees, unless you know how to draw a ball with a drive, good luck.

Good course but if you don't hit the fairway every time you will be hitting off of cement. Very dry hard ground 4ft off fairway. Also you get a mix of beginners with zero golf etiquette that slow the pace of everyone to a crawl.
