Rock Island Arsenal Golf Club Tee Times

Quad cities best kept secret! No waiting for tee times and amazing river views. The fairways are beautiful and the greens are filling in nicely. Col Parker and the MWR team have done an amazing job bring back this nostalgic 9 hole course.

Phenomenal pricing! Currently a 9 hole golf course, with more popularity maybe we can get the other 9 opened back up. Civilians just need to get a pass at the visitor center. Get out there! Hit’m straight!

Beautiful wedding location. Catering was ok. The roasted pork, prime rib, and most sides were fine, mashed potatoes weren't the greatest. But, add some gravy, and they tasted much better.

I really want to love this course—truly. The nostalgia behind it, the memories it holds, and the history surrounding it make me root for its success. But after its recent rejuvenation, I was hoping for a much better experience. Unfortunately, the current condition of the course is disappointing. None of the tee boxes are in good shape—most are uneven and patchy at best. The fairways haven’t filled in, leaving large areas bare and inconsistent. While the greens are in okay shape compared to the rest, they’re not enough to offset the overall condition of the course. There’s so much potential here, and I sincerely hope continued work brings it back to the standard many of us remember. Until then, it’s hard to justify the cost or recommend it to others who haven’t shared the same emotional connection to it.

I have now played the course twice. The history and sovereignty of the course will bring me back again and again. The course itself is not in very good shape. In particular the greens are spotty with sand. It is scenic alongside the river. The current price I think offsets the conditions. I worry though that if they don't step it up and manicure better it will not survive which will be a total shame.
