Longwood Country Club Tee Times

This course is a great layout with unbeatable prices. Not well kept and definitely has drainage issues. Staff is nice but spread thin. Wonder if the owner or if anyone else’s knows if they’re opening this year for play? Still closed every time I drive by.

I love this course. I've golfed Longwood a few times now and there are some really fun holes here. The greens are in pretty good shape and the fairways are decent. Every time we go, I never feel rushed. Pace is great and there are some challenging holes here! I'll keep going here for sure.

If you just want to play and not get hung-up about lousy greens you might enjoy yourself. Interesting, challenging layout. Decent 19th hole. Good deal for the money. I guess the bank/owner won't put more effort & $$ into improving the greens. It is what it is. Have fun !!

I was at Longwood today and I have to say this is the worst golf course I ever played. After two holes my buddy and I quit. We left and went to play at another course. The course is in just awful condition. The fairways were like the rough on other courses and the rough was like playing through a jungle. The dandelions were a foot tall and littered the course. The greens were even worse. There were bare spots and a green fungus that made putting impossible. You could not hit a straight putt as the conditions made it feel like you were putting through a land mind field. The course has a special green fee deal for $18 with a cart. Don't get taken in. I would not play this course for free.

It was my first time visiting when I stopped in to check them out. The staff was friendly in the bar and permitted me to eat my lunch (which I had bought elsewhere) on there rear deck facing the golf course. Had a very nice and will go there to initially hit some balls before I probably take up golfing again. Enjoyed the nice scenery and the staff!
