Makray Memorial Golf Club Tee Times

Photographed a wedding at Makray Memorial Golf Club and it’s truly a beautiful venue. The grounds are stunning and would normally be perfect for outdoor photos. Unfortunately, it was very windy and cold that day, so we weren’t able to fully take advantage of the outdoor spaces. That said, the staff and team were incredibly nice, professional, and courteous throughout the entire event, which made a big difference. Overall, a gorgeous location for weddings—I’d love to come back on a nicer day to capture even more of what this venue has to offer!

We were so lucky to be able to celebrate our wedding reception at Makray. From the very beginning, event coordinators Laurie and Leeza impressed us with their kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail. We chose Makray over other available venues because everyone at Makray was so kind, and it was reassuring to feel that they were personally invested in making our wedding day go well and our guests feel comfortable. Their team went above and beyond to make sure everything came together, working seamlessly with our other vendors to keep the day running smoothly. They were also so easy to work with in the months leading up to the big day. Chef John was especially kind as well, and the food was plentiful, beautifully presented, and delicious. We had several guests with dietary restrictions and allergies, and the staff made sure everyone was accommodated without a single worry on our end. Our guests commented not only on enjoying the food, but also on how well cared for they felt throughout the evening. Makray was also a beautiful backdrop for our wedding photos, and staff was so kind when taking us and our photographer out on the course for photos. We are so grateful to the entire team for making our wedding day so memorable and for creating such a wonderful experience for us and our guests! Highly highly recommend choosing Makray for your wedding! We have already recommended it to other couples!

Very decent place to golf. Provides enough huddles - bunkers, water/ponds, rough patches. Nice challenge to play.

Makray is a fantastic course. Very challenging hole design, with quick and undulating greens. The course gets a lot of play, evidenced by the many fairway divots on the course. Condition of the course was outstanding, with the exception mentioned above. When walking, I found the distances from greens to tee boxes to be longer than most other courses. That said, it is a very walkable track. The clubhouse is really nice. Food and beverages were delicious. Service in the restaurant, pro shop and starter was excellent and on-task. I do recommend Makray. Enjoy your round!

We could not have asked for a more incredible venue and wedding team! Leeza, Laurie, and Stacie were absolutely phenomenal from the very beginning of the planning process all the way through the end of our wedding night. They accommodated every request, every change, and every little detail we wanted, always making us feel supported and taken care of throughout the entire process. One of the things we appreciated most was how well they understood and executed our vision. I brought what felt like an overwhelming amount of décor and explained everything in about an hour, and somehow they brought it all to life perfectly on the wedding day. Walking into our reception completely exceeded our expectations and felt exactly how we envisioned it. The food was absolutely delicious and we received compliments from our guests all night long. We also loved our wedding cake through Lovin Oven, it was not only beautiful, but tasted amazing as well. We are so grateful to the entire Makray team for helping create the most perfect wedding day and would recommend them to anyone in a heartbeat
