We recently celebrated our daughter’s wedding at Ravisloe Country Club, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment guests arrived at the elegant Spanish-style entrance, they were welcomed into a space full of charm, warmth, and timeless beauty. One of our favorite parts of the celebration was the gorgeous courtyard cocktail hour. The atmosphere was relaxed and elegant, and guests couldn’t stop complimenting the setting—it was the perfect way to kick off the evening. The food was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious—we received so many compliments throughout the night. Guests also really appreciated that the servers introduced themselves personally when they approached each table. The entire reception flowed seamlessly, thanks in large part to our amazing day-of coordinator, Carmen. She was calm, organized, and incredibly kind—truly a joy to work with. We were absolutely thrilled with our experience at Ravisloe—a true hidden treasure that made our daughter’s wedding day unforgettable.

This is a fantastic golf course. It has a vintage feel to it and well-kept greens and fairways. The rough is...well, just that, rough. Trees come into play if you are not in the fairway. It can be challenging but the holes are not very long. The bunkers are well-maintained but stay out of there. The bunkers have high walls. The greens play faster than normal, which is my favorite. Afterwards, enjoy their delicious food and a cold beverage and enjoy the view on their beautiful patio. It is slightly pricey, and I wished they had veterans and first-responder rates, but it is a great golf course. And if you're in the City of Chicago, take the train, call them with your ETA, and they will pick you up from the train station and take you back after your round. Sweet!!!

Loved this course. Super cool layout and it’s in green shape. The range and practice area is actually way better than I was expecting as well. Course was in great shape, with only the normal scars of a public course (divots, etc). The carts were also a nice touch with bluetooth speakers and a good GPS map. It ended up being super fun getting paired up with a twosome, but despite me booking as a single, they wouldn’t let me out there by myself. I had called so apparently I somehow cheated their online booking system which doesn’t allow singles. Delayed me by 15-20 minutes and would have been good to know, but not a big deal.
