While I am no golfer per say (12pk = 9 holes spinning golf cart donuts in the fresh morning dew) but I do fancy wildlife in such a beautiful setting. The course is blended with flush forests, hills and dales with a greater than 0 chance of seeing bald eagles and other wild critters.
All I saw today a couple squirrels and the same ground hog twice after spending some time at the Riverlands Migratory Bird Sanctuary near the @Audubon Center at Riverlands, capturing this and other images of the Great Egret below.
If you like wildlife, I hear Rock Springs GC is a great place to visit. I will visit again when it isn't so bloody HOT and might take up golf again but this time, I'll stick to cameras, tripods, and a cart, but maybe forget-about-the-donuts, lest I get arrested.
Enjoy!

Place is oozing with potential, they need a greenskeeper who cares about the property and some help with equipment. The cart path from 1-->2, holy moses.

This is a great little muni 9 hole course. Very traditional old-style course with round, raised greens that usually slope back to front. Dont be fooled, some of the holes are hard--#2 requires a good drive with a street running all along the right side of the fairway and #8 is a monster par 5. 9 is a great finishing hole too.
