I was very skeptical about how good Plantation would be given the historical hype/reputation and the recent closure and news of poor conditions. Played December 1st and it was amazing!! Conditions were PGA level, views are insane and the course was hard but super fun and unique. One of the few places I’ve played where it was worth almost $500 and I want to play again already, after thinking this would be one and done! Only slight issue was pace which was surprisingly slow given 12 min team times, cost and getting out at 8AM. Finished about 4:30 but waited on almost every tee box with another group typically on the tee behind us. Overall though well worth it, beautiful views from the restaurant and solid food with great service.

Pretty amazing golf experience. I thought the course was in pretty good shape given all of the recent water concerns. It's a shame the Bay course was still closed during our visit. Also, Duane (the caddy that joined our group) was an absolute legend. Thanks for a great round!

Golf Course closed due a water issue apparently caused by The Pineapple growers. PGA tour stop canceled in 2026 due to the water issue. Employees say the course is mending and will soon return to it's past glory.
