An excellent golf course in Woodstock ⛳️. 🏌🏾♂️ really good layout. The condition of the course is pretty good considering it is open to the public ⛳️. 🏌🏾♂️ Bent grass greens and Bermuda fairways. This course gets a lot of activity and there are many areas that need maintenance, however, there are also plenty of nice areas to hit off of well manicured grass. Several beautiful homes in the neighborhood and in a wonderful environment. I had a great time on the course my best round of the year 71!! ⛳️👏🏽🐺
This course gets incredibly slow as a public private experience. You can expect a very slow round of golf one out of two times that you play it. Sometimes you show up and can move through but odds are 4 1/2 to 5 hour round. Our round today took 5 1/2 hours. Slowest round of golf I’ve played in literally 10 years.

I really enjoyed the food at this Steelers bar. The buffalo grilled chicken wrap, sweet potato fries, and wings were fantastic! Daily specials and great menu options. Inside and outside seating. Short walk to the pool and tennis courts.

Went with some friends the people behind us were rude and complained about us to the staff. We were nice and hurried up to go to the next hole even did not take a few shots to accommodate the people behind us. Upon completion of our game the staff advised us as to what we were doing wrong and the people behind us paid a lot of money (same amount we paid) to golf their. The staff was very rude and unprofessional. Would like to give 0 stars however that is not a option google is letting me give. WORST EXPERENCE EVER.

Solid course when in good shape. As of early March the greens are nice and fast.. the fairways are pretty bare with a lot of roll. Rounds typically take 4.5 - 5 hours due to the clubhouse stacking as many tee times as possible. Great bar/restaurant and friendly staff.

Update August 2022
Still a really fun course, but I felt I needed to update my original post.
Unfortunately, the greens have suffered over the summer use. I also think that this being the home course of Woodstock High School leads to some irresponsible actions or some dumb rival high schools causing mayhem. Obvious examples of divots caused by hitting chips off the green and large indentions cause by slamming wedges into the greens.
Additionally, there are probably 3 or 4 tee boxes that were in shambles.
I played a twilight round so it was only $40. I'd say based on the conditions, $50 would be a fair price. But $70 is on the high side considering the current conditions.
So I have lowered my original rating of 5 stars down to 4. Still a fun course and will remain in my rotation. I just hope they work on the greens and have a more present marshall to protect against kids messing up the course. If so, I'll update my review again.

The course is absolutely pristine right now. Not sure why so many people have complained about the cart paths. Seemed just fine to me.
Solid, grass driving range. Accessible putting green. And a full staff - starter, marshal, etc. Which kept pace of play right in line with expectations (4 hrs and 15 mins).
Greens were very receptive on approach shots (SO FIX YOUR PITCH MARKS AND KEEP IT THAT WAY). And they rolled true. Couple of really tricky greens made it fun.
Fairways were in excellent shape as well.
Couple tee boxes could use some love, but I think they were trimming them down shortly after my round. Regardless, wasn't a big deal on the couple that needed trimming.
Just a really enjoyable course all around. I'll be back.
