I’m dropping 5 stars on Barrington Hall, and here’s why. This is a fantastic layout—**challenging, fun, and scenic**. It has long, rewarding driving holes where a great tee shot really pays off, along with strategic approaches that make you think. That alone is worth three stars. As of Thanksgiving 2025 Barrington Hall is absolutely on the way up. The greens were smooth and rolled well and you can tell the course is trending in the right direction. New carts, new cart paths under construction and a genuinely solid group of guys who clearly care about creating a positive experience for every golfer. I played it twice this week and had an absolute blast figuring out the course. Barrington Hall is quickly becoming a course worth the drive to Macon, and I’m excited to see what it becomes.

I have been a Barrington Hall resident since the early 90's and I have to say that I am amazed at the transformation just within the last month since under new management. New golf carts was a great start! The fairways and the greens are getting some much needed care and the short term results are hopefully just a glimpse of improvements to come. I looked at the fourth fairway and the green this morning and noticed a huge difference already! I believe the new management has some great things planned for our golf course.

Owner Jeff Moody has the course in outstanding shape. Greens are fast and beautiful. Fairways were clear of leaves and debris. Prices were very reasonable. We had a foursome come up from Tampa, FL for the weekend. We all have committed to come back. 10/11/25
