Relaxed course with cheap fees. The layout is a little odd with most of the tee boxes right behind the prior green, so confidence in your approach shot is required. Not much variety in hole shape, a couple small doglegs. But overall a great place to play.

If you golf, Hartwell Golf Club is definitely where you want to be. These people are friendly, nice, and the prices are definitely affordable for the everyday person! The dress code is casual, which is an added bonus!!! They gave us a Valentine's Day deal that we coul not resist. My Fiance and I had a blast golfing, enjoying the scenery, and riding the golf cart. Golf carts are included with the regular golfing price. They even went as far to include a loaner ice cooler with ice to keep our beer cold. We bought the beer in their shop, which they have a wide variety to choose from, along with snacks. This is a very family friendly course. The restrooms are immaculate, another added benefit. The courses are well manicured and beautiful! There is a covered bridge. This was my first time golfing and Hartwell Golf Club went above and beyond to make it a wonderful first experience for me! Hartwell Golf Club is definitely where you want to be for golfing!

I've been playing Hartwell Golf Club twice a week now. The course presents some unique challenges, making par golf here quite a struggle. I'm enjoying the course very much.

This was my first time playing the HGC and I liked it. It's not a long course, but it gives you a myriad of looks, with some placement holes that require less than driver, to stay in play. The greens need some love, so maybe help them afford it by playing a round or two, because it really is a sweet little gem. The pro shop is spacious and there are tables/chairs on the patio for those after round hotdogs and conversations. It's worth the ride and the savings on the round, pay for the difference in gas, so, win-win. All the best and hope ya hit em straight when you do give them a try.
