The sounds of birds filling the air throughout the day lift your spirits and remind you how close to nature you are. The course itself is impeccably maintained — from the pristine fairways to the sparkling greens. Every corner feels loved and cared for. The staff here is incredibly friendly and welcoming — they make you feel like family from the moment you arrive. But what makes Bacon Park extra special is the neighborhood that surrounds it. It’s full of history, charm, and Southern hospitality. I live off the 11th hole, and this place has become my forever home. Very bad golf experience here. I am from out of town and wanted to play some golf in the Savannah area. Decided to give bacon park a try. I paid $56 for $20 greens and constantly found myself lost for lack of any visible cart path. Seriously, the cart paths are non existent and confusing. Also for some reason you are not able to park the golf carts next to your vehicle, which makes loading and unloading a pain. I quite after the first nine and tried to get half my money back, but the pro at the shop was super defensive (the only quality of this course that is consistent with any other course in Georgia 😂) and offered me a rain check. I said sure, but then he played like he couldn’t figure out how to get me a rain check 🫠. I told him to just save his time, and that the chances of me coming back are slim anyway. I think he got a little embarrassed, and I felt a little bad, so I will say… I only played the front 9, the back nine could have been great 🤷🏼‍♂️

This course is well maintained. Some of the greens were a little rough but not enough to spoil the round. Overall in good condition, challenging but forgiving. Played at the senior rate which was very reasonable. I would recommend this course if you are in the area.
