Palmetto-Pine Country Club Tee Times

I've been golfing here for 10+ years and it's honestly one of the Capes best kept secrets. The course is clean, fairways are in excellent shape, greens are super challenging and Mulligans is a welcome stop at the turn! Everyone you'll encounter is friendly and knowledgeable. Shhh....don't tell anyone 😉

Let me start by saying I believe in giving credit where credit is due . The morning fee was $155.00 which isn’t bad for a great course in this area but I would put this as a $100.00 maximum course. The fairways were good, the greens were above average and I loved the undulations, they were fabulous . The score cards were a disgrace, printed on copy paper with no markings or guidance . The personal were a different story, the starter and marshals were very rude. The started had the attitude of a 2nd lieutenant just out of OCS. The marshal approached us on the 16th fairway and ask us to speed up play although there had not been anyone behind us on 14 and 15 he approached us again on the 17th and got a little irate and said we were holding up people on the tee box, again no on the tee behind us. Apparently he was having a bad day or it was getting time for him to go home. I’m 83 and drive the ball 230-240 yards so there was no slow play. Oh I almost forgot to mention we were only 2 minutes behind pace. I WONT BE BACK.

Palmetto Pine Country Club Review This is a beautiful course with easy-to-play holes. The staff is nice, and there's a refreshment stand at hole 10 offering cold towels. You'll also find 3-4 water stations equipped with ice, water, and restrooms. At $80 per person, the pricing is absolutely fair.

Nice layout and in pretty good shape. Unfortunately it is way over priced . $160 is simply to much for a course with 1 small outside bar and very limited amenities. Way better deals just up the road in Punta Gorda. The locker room is very outdated. Everything is over priced especially the drinks. Would have loved to hanged out and had a few drinks and settle our bets but $17 for a double whisky on the rocks drove us out of there. One final note the starter is a jerk.

Had the opportunity to visit the Palmetto-Pine Country Club in Cape Coral. One of the cool things about being a musicians mom is getting the chance to see different venues in the area. This time, it was for my daughter filling in with the 22nd St Band. The country club hosted their annual Xmas party. The Palmetto-Pine went all out with their decorations. The guests enjoyed the music and had fun.
