The Course is a relaxed and scenic track near the coast, surrounded by water and palm trees that give it a true Florida feel. The course is generally well-maintained and playable for most skill levels, though the tee boxes could use some attention. The greens aren’t easy — they’re a bit tricky and require good touch and reading. The layout isn’t overly long, but a few holes are tighter or more strategic, which keeps things interesting. Pace of play was slow during my visit, but that’s probably to be expected on a Saturday. Staff are friendly, facilities are solid, and the value for money is excellent. Overall, Rocky Point is a great spot for a casual but engaging round if you’re in the area.

We had such a great day at Rockypoint Golf Club in Tampa Bay! The course conditions were outstanding — good fairways and smooth greens, which is impressive considering how much rain had fallen earlier in the week. One of the biggest surprises was the rental clubs. Instead of the usual beat-up sets you find at many courses, these were top-of-the-line Callaway clubs — including the new AI Smoke and Paradigm drivers. Honestly, they felt like something straight off the showroom floor, which made the round even better. The staff couldn’t have been more welcoming, and everything about the experience was enjoyable. Between the friendly team, pristine course, and high-quality gear, Rocky Point is a hidden gem that golfers shouldn’t miss when visiting Tampa Bay. I’m already looking forward to teeing it up here again!

My son has always had a great experience every time he plays here. He says the course is in great condition and the staff are fantastic. Great course!
