Nice course, but way too expensive for what you get. I was there for the PGA Tour Champions. The Black Course is too spread out to walk it. I have played it before also and as I said, it's not worth it.

Can't recommend this hotel any longer, unfortunately. The property is now quite run down. There is no real restaurant on site for room service. The breakfast room is an amalgamation of mismatched tables and chairs from what appears to be a mix of catering and past restaurants concepts. If you intend to use the beach at the beach resort, be warned it is not usable until January 2026. The resort does not communicate this to guests. We would not have stayed here if it had been communicated. And rather than address the issue, the hotel claimed they don't know when work will occur and can't control it. In reality, the work is posted on the county website and staff shared with us this work has been ongoing since November. Simply inexcusable to fail to communicate the loss of a major amenity to guests. Marriott continues to downgrade the Ritz standards and this hotel appears to be sadly a prime example.

WOW. What a beautiful golf course. Worth every penny. Pristine everything. The grass was like a rug. The greens, like ice. Super fast. The pictures don't do it justice. You must see this place. If you're lucky, you must play it. It will never have better than this place. I guarantee it.
