My family and I were very excited to visit this course for a fun, relaxed afternoon of learning. We had called ahead to explain that our goal was to teach some family members— including our 10-year-old daughter, who is new to golf — and asked how late the course would be open. We were told we just needed to be off the course by 6 p.m. When we arrived, the course was quiet, with only one group ahead of us and no one behind. About an hour after starting, a staff member approached us in a golf cart and asked how long we’d been on that hole. We explained that we were the family who had called ahead and were new to the game. She then told us we only had an hour and a half to play and that we were “taking too long.” We apologized and tried to clarify, thinking there must have been some miscommunication since we were told we just had to be done by six. Unfortunately, instead of listening, she continued to repeat herself, raising her voice and making condescending remarks — even in front of our daughter. She mentioned not wanting to “wait around all day” for “just $20,” which felt very unprofessional. What made the situation worse was that her golf cart appeared to have several beer cans visible in it, which only added to our concern about her conduct. As we turned in our golf cart key it was very apparent she had been complaining about our interaction to the golfers who were ahead of us. Which only furthered our feelings of unwelcomeness. What could have been a great family experience turned into a disappointing and uncomfortable situation that left us feeling unwelcome and embarrassed. Instead of spending our drive home chatting about our newly acquired skills, we were teaching our daughter how to handle disrespect and unacceptable behaviors from others.

Company outing here today. Great course, well maintained and the owners are extremely friendly. We had an amazing day. The older gentleman riding around checking on people was very helpful and a joy to chat with. We will all be back for sure. Thank you Creekside golf for a memorable experience!

My company does annual golf scrambles at Creek Side and I am starting to love it! Everyone is friendly and I never feel rushed or like I don't belong there. For my first couple experiences, I did not have clubs but they offer free sets to borrow so that made the game accessible to my fiance and I. I just think that Creek Side gives people an opportunity to enjoy golfing and they give our Company an opportunity to spend time outside of work together which I value and appreciate. It's an awesome place an affordable friendly.
